Marel insulated piercing connectors are designed for safe and reliable installation in LV ABC networks. They do not contain parts that can fall off during installation and are intended for single-use installation, ensuring consistent electrical contact and installation safety.

The connectors are equipped with an anti-rotation device (ARD) that prevents rotation between the upper and lower parts of the connector, enabling easy and proper installation and allowing deep penetration of the contact plates into the insulation of both main and tap conductors.

Marel insulated piercing connectors with simultaneous piercing are tested in accordance with EN 50483, SRPS EN 50483, NFC 33-020, and ГОСТ Р 70352-2022 standards. Testing includes low-temperature assembly verification, mechanical impact and torque testing, dielectric voltage testing in water, electrical ageing through heating and cooling cycles, as well as environmental and corrosion resistance testing.
